This historic sake brewery was established in 1863 and even got into beer brewing in the Meiji period (1868 – 1912). When preparing to brew its leading brands of Tamajiman, a local sake, and Tama no Megumi, a craft beer, it uses mineral-rich moderately hard water pumped up from 150 meters underground. It carefully nurtures and brews its products using techniques about which it does not compromise.
