Ashitaba, which is said to have originated on Tokyo’s islands, contains a good balance of nutrients needed by the human body including various vitamins. This health vegetable is cultivated on a pick-your-own farm and carefully selected ingredients are processed into tea.
Located in a facility that offers experiences (reservation required) of Gojinkadaiko drums on Oshima, harvesting camellia oil and dyeing with vegetables, they sell pickles and tea using ashitaba grown on the Oshima tourist association farm. They are open only when they receive a reservation for the facility or the shop.
